MG RX-0 UNICORN

Photobucket
Its a unicorn? A gundam? Its BOTH!!
Seen this gunpla lying around while trolling around sg, it caught my eye with its unique design but never considered getting it due to its high price. But after seeing this set for sale in hongkong for 60SGD? It utterly destroy my pefect record of not doing anymore gunpla for at least 2 years.
Building this is refreshing and really shows how far master grade gunpla have progressed, its complexity have surpassed everything i have built in the past. But the outcome is rather flimsy and its articulation is about the standard of a HG.Transformation is entirely different from previous gundam design but the flimsy design did hamper the experience as it is a squeaky affair and you seriously wouldnt want to do it often. But looks wise, it is god damn impressive with no need for paneling to bring out the details but do require little painting like bazooka ammo to bring out minor details if you are perfectionist.

Bought the unicorn stand to display aerial stance, but unicorn limited leg articulation becomes very obvious.

Decided to do something stupid with my unicorn which is to have the right side in unicorn mode while the left side is destroyer mode.Working on unicorn is obviously a nightmare again which i must emphasize again and... AGAIN.Accidentally broke the bazooka's dock while attaching it to the backpack.Changed to the rifle instead but it still couldnt fit in entirely without using force. Having to glue back the bazooka the previous time i messed with it still leave some aftershock. But no matter how gentle i am with it, it still produce squeaky sound nontheless and some transformation process require some strength but it turn out the way i wanted luckily.

Yay i manage to glue back the bazooka handle...but it broke again anyway=.=

Thats something only a MG can do ^^

Previously i am reluctant to display my unicorn in destroyer mode due to the V fin of the expose gundam is using gold sticker to produce the color. With some additional paint left over from my previous work on Sinanju, i applied gold paint on the V fin and it looks horrific pretty. Below are some pics to show what my orgasm is all about.

Crap...Got to cut my nails before i book in
