Crysis failed in the story department, and warhead isnt gonna change that anytime soon.Although it make an infant step in the right direction, its best to treat it as a mindless futuristic warshooter with tech-demo like visuals.
The infantry enemy still behave similarly, although they now spam in larger waves now to keep your trigger happy fingers occupied. But the once boring aliens where you wonder how the fuck those puny brains actually thought of conquering earth, have luckily, became a little more intelligent. Those elite suicide bomber division from Allah have finally learn their lessons in the sphere with Nomad and have reprogram their frozen thinking cans to create a more tatical approach with Pyscho this time round.Adding to the mix is freeze beam, shield generator and artillery in desperation to prevent their inevitable defeat, as intended by the great Yerli vi Britannia.
The world too have been reshape and improve by the God-emperor, with better particle system, lighting post processing and lesser lag from intense visual overload. With special travel passes issued to you for a visit to swamps, frozen aircraft carrier and the usual forrest trekking. But of course, even a god is not perfect, some visual bugs from previous cry engine 2 still remains.Hardware requirement is still rather steep for steady market penetration to DPRK and PRC, and recently to a certain extent, USA too.
So even with its cheap retail price for crysis warhead, only a few corrupted bankers and officials could ever enjoy it in full glory on a 30incher.ALL HAIL YERLI!!
