Another childhood fav gets the MG treatment. Previous leaked pictures suggest bad looking head but its a relief the final product turns out very well. Due to work commitments, i was only able to assemble it now. Good thing is subsequent delivery uses maritime shipment instead of air, leading to lower cost.
Epyon is the most nefarious and malevolent looking gundam ever designed. Talons, Sharp Fins and claws decorated every part of this mobile suit. Top it up with MASSIVE energy blade and the heat rod to complete the ultimate killing machine. Building this suit is fun as the suit inner frame is designed to transform and other gimmicks. Something worth mentioned is the skirt, which is designed to let the legs move all the way back during transformation. The legs is also well designed into 4 segments allowing them to bend which no previous MG have accomplished. The wings' fins can be open and close by extending or retracting the largest fin. However it is too tight and i dare not risk breaking another part.
The arm joint is well designed to articulate several extreme poses. However, they could not withstand the weight of either weapon. The blade can still be posed relatively well with the wire attached. The wire provides the additional support required but the downside is the stiffness can get irritating at times.
The decals is just as hard to apply as MG sinanju. In fact the decal design for the leg is pretty similar between both suits. Due to damage to several decals, i removed them eventually.
Accidentally broke one of the knee fin, but its isnt a major issue. Have lots of fun building it but not so during posing.

Exploring some poses.
