Its that simple and cheap. The tweeter is now at shoulder level and the bass sounds even punchier than it already is. In fact, its so much cleaner and its frequency response actually feels lower than previous setup. Its probably due to the isolation of the speakers to prevent my table becoming  a resonating medium.
Gonna spend some effort to decorate the cubes black to remove that distracting bright yellow color. Oh, and don't mind the green tape on the power LED, its just to make my sleep more enjoyable without bright blinking white light.

UPDATE:

Reduce cubes to 3 each for speaker and antivibration pad on both sides of the cubes. Reduce contact plus increase vibration dampening. Still abit of resonation and vibration from the table at really high volumes for some movie session. But i doubt commerical anti vibration foam can shield that kind of volume either.
Furthermore, its black now!

Also, you can also see alittle misalignment of the woofer. the bottom rim of the speaker is exposed compared to the correctly aligned speaker.
