The Wow ends now.

I briefly said that nvidia driver is still beta even after the release of windows vista.But now things is alittle complicated.Countless company out there could not get a non beta driver out in time, but nvidia seems to be the odd one out for some sexual abuse.Why?Because it is windows vista premium certified, promised a working driver will be out on the day of vista lose her vaginity to the public and worst of all, the way it handled the hungry army of orks demanding at least basic gameplay on vista.
As convenient as it can be, nvidia's support page is under construction so the only way to seek support is to go to nvidia's forum.As you know the way forum works, when someone scold fuck you nvidia, thousands will parot.Of course you know why, and understand their feeling.Firstly graphics card isnt cheap,second you declare your self as vista certified or whatever shit, third you promised a working driver by one of your marketing idiots in CES2007.Now, we are not demanding a directx10 driver , or one that is optimised, just a fucking driver to make everything work and of course playable to a certain extent.However, the forum admins retaliated by deleting the entire post and warned anybody bringing up this topic will get banned.So, it began, the unification of the orks warband to bombard nvidia with legal lawsuit.Well, serve them right.
Anyway, its not a big concern to me since i m not buying in to the "WOW"(no is not warcraft) campaign by microsoft.However, looking at how the general industry progress, i fear that after directx10 games is out in the wild, the drivers is still not prepared.The usual suspect is nvidia with their bunch of useless driver programmers, creative with their EAX D3d sound having problem after getting their ass bar from windows vista kernal, and of course small IT hardware company like my modem which officially doesnt have a windows xp driver.Yes, no typo, no exaggeration, i am using a driver written for windows 2000 , but well at least it works.Althought i doubt it will work on vista.
Anyway, you could traceback nvidia's driver quality drop after the launch of 7 series GPU, another milestone of humiliation with its disgusting new driver interface and of course now, the vista drama, you must be wondering where the good old driver programmers of theirs that make Ati catalyst look like student's project during the gefore 4 TI.Of course, the good news is there is leaking evidence that R600 will significantly beat G80, driver or achitecture superioity i do not know.But if things get out of hand for nvidia, its time for me to get the first Radeon card in my life.
