TT RX-0 Unicorn Gattling Guns

Photobucket
Worst than HG...

First purchase of a TT gunpla imitation and it probably would be the last. Not that my wallet is too tight or something. But due to bandai clever marketing tatic, those would like to get their paws on a gattling guns for MG Unicorn would have to purchase a volume of Gundam Unicorn novel. At least dengeki magazine or a manga allows you to just skim through and enjoy the artwork. But novel? Forget it dude, total no go. A quick check on the online black market return a staggering 50 to 70SGD asking price for the gattling guns itself which is also not something i m willing to pay.
Therefore i have been eyeing the resin or the bootleg version recast of the gattling gun. Actually i wanted to try my skills on resin but due to explicit warnings from pros out there, i decide to go for the easier option. If the news didnt travel to you, let me break it to you, bandai is filling lawsuit against the major bootlegs, particularly TT which from what i learn have the best quality.
Before TT actually shut it doors, its presence in singapore is already dwindling rapidly, so i decide to get it immediately before i need to fall back to some less desirable options. Costing 19SGD from HAG at sunshine plaza, its obviously overprized, cashing on the fact this is a recast of an limited edition item. Even though people univerally agree TT has the best quality for imitations, it still sucks balls. You could see dried plastic threads, like those cheese that stretches while eating cheese encrasted pizza. The joints either have a hard time fitting, left over plastic or weird scratch marks. Placing the 4 barrel and muzzle for the gattling gun is a FUCKING chore. I having stop swearing on blogs for like ages but this is really getting on my nerves. The joints between 2 simple runner have to be snip off and filled then force my way through. On the other extreme end is joints that refuse to stay in place and have to be glued. Since the gattling gun comes in pair and a gattling gun itselfs have 4 barrels, the inconsistent quality between parts is glaringly obvious. Cursing under my breath while doing something which supposedly an enjoyable hobby is depressing. In fact it comes across my mind, how the hell someone actually could complete entire gundam from TT without quitting this hobby for good and smash the entire kit to fustrate his anger.
Luckily, i am going to hide it behind the shield anyway so it doesnt look half bad.It gives my unicorn slightly more kick ass look when posing beside the uber sinanju. Wouldnt say i regreted this purchase, but i would stay away from TT and pray such ridiculous situation created by bandai doenst arise again.
