Dark Rider Divine skill review (Clash of lords 2)

Been trying to find out more information about clash of lords 2 heroes, especially their divine skill. However, the quantity and quality of data seems to be lacking. Therefore, I will start sharing details of the divine skills I manage to obtain.
Since I m a free player, I will have very few divine skills unlocked and unlikely they will be above level 1.

Dark Rider Divine skill level 1: Absorbs up to 50,000 DMG for allied Heroes for 20s and deals 10,000 DMG to nearby enemies, stunning them for 3s when depleted

Pros:
  • Although not explicitly written, each hero will have a shield of 50,000 hp. This means they have a combine shield HP of 250,000.
  • Each shield when consumed, also explodes for 10,000 dmg stunning for 3 second. If an emeny is hit by all 5 of the shield explosion, they will receive 50,000 damage. If each hero take turns to have its shield consumed, you can stunt the enemy up to 15 seconds.
  • Really good divine skill to use at the start as you no longer need to cast Dark rider's active skill: destruction halo to tank. Instead I invest my rage to attack active skills from pangoli, etc.
  • Expose an air unit first, then Dark rider second. This allows range units to hit your air hero, while melee unit will hit Dark rider. This assure 2 shield to be consumed concurrently to take advantage of the stun and increase survivability of Dark rider.
  • Most effective in hero vs hero battle like arena and campaign clash
  • An interesting mix of offense and defense in a single divine skill
  • Huge game changer that you can instantly feel once obtaining it.
Cons:
  • The damage radius is too small when the shield is consumed. The standoff distance between range hero will not be within the explosion radius. You will need more melee heroes to take full advantage of it.
  • Very difficult to make the shield consume consecutively. Generally, only the first 2 units (the air tank and Dark rider) will have its shield consumed before the 20 seconds mark.
Verdict: Expensive to obtain, but well worth the effort. Major step up to your team capability that no amount of hero or active skill level can provide.
